Shipping Explained

We ship our packages using the United States Postal Service (USPS). USPS is currently the most economical method that we have found for shipping packages. They offer tracking for both national and international shipping and other services such as “Informed delivery” and “Electronic Signature Online”. For information on these and other services visit www.usps.com.  Other shipping vendors such as UPS, FEDEX, etc. can be utilized at our/customer’s digression. However, the customer must request a shipping quote prior to completing the order.

We typically ship 90% of orders with 1 to 3 days. Items which are in stock can ship a soon as the next day and larger or more complex items can take longer, up to a few weeks.

International Shipping

We currently ship everywhere USPS ships. Both nationally and internationally. When a package ships internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed (e.g. handling fees) by the destination country. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country.

The buyer is responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. These charges can vary widely and are often based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.

If your package is subject to customs fees, your package may be held at your local customs office. Contact your local customs office to find out your next steps as you may need to pay additional charges.
